Environmental/eDNA surveillance activities in Canada now has this new resource: https://ednasurveillance.ca/ This site is the start of efforts to integrate eDNA (and eRNA) resources, protocols, and projects. eDNA monitoring offers a non-invasive, cost-effective, rapid, and more wholistic way to assess health, including population health, agricultural health, and ecosystem health. Integrating efforts that are developing or using this more integrative monitoring technology makes sense! Thanks to Genome Canada and Genome British Columbia for key support. This work brings together different major projects, including iMicroSeq.caeDNAExplorer.ca, and others, with partners including DNAstack, Koonkie, the One Yukon Coalition, Simon Fraser University, CANUE, CARD, and more. If there’s anything you would like to see added, do contact us.
