ChùNet is co-led by Erin Gill (left), who is a University Research Associate (Junior Faculty) at Simon Fraser University (SFU), and Math’ieya Alatini, who is a member of the Kluane First Nation and CEO of One Yukon Coalition (OYC).

Gill and Alatini work with an interdisciplinary team that includes expertise in community engagement and epidemiology from OYC (Justine Aman, Katie Gregg, Mohamed Kharbouch, Carolina Koutras & Sherry Wabisca), microbial genomics and data standards from SFU (Charlie Barclay, Fiona Brinkman, Emma Griffiths & Justin Jia), eDNA assay development from the University of Victoria (Caren Helbing, Jacob Imbery, Vanessa Thompson & Sarah Trilesky), database development from OICR (Lead: Mélanie Courtot), knowledge translation/mobilization from SFU (Lupin Battersby), public health from BCCDC Public Health Labs (Lead: Natalie Prystajecky) and software package development from DNAstack (Lead: Marc Fiume).
